Bookings

If you are a band and would like to play a show, please read this carefully.

Final Friday Show Series: Currently Phil is booking all of our Final Friday shows (last Friday of every month). For the time being we are only booking shows once a month, so please only e-mail us if you are available to play on one of those dates. Touring bands, please keep this in mind. However, keep checking back, because we do plan to start promoting events more frequently, eventually doing two shows a week once we find a location and set up shop.

In your e-mail please provide us with the following information (if relevant):
1. Band myspace account
2. Band website
3. Dates you wish to play
4. Any additional bands you may be touring with
5. A brief description of the band’s style (ie. “we are an emo-folk-death-grind-sludge-core hip-hop act”)
6. Phone and e-mail contact information

Cash: We don’t do contracts. We use a variation of the 924 Gilman payout scheme. When the show is over, the bands will send one representative each to meet with the show facilitator who will go over the show budget with them. After expenses (hall rental, PA, posters, etc.) all left over cash is split 75% to the bands and 25% to the Joe Strummer Memorial Society. The facilitator will suggest an equitable distribution, taking into account factors such as touring bands needing cash for the road and other similar concerns. Additionaly, the facilitator will ask the bands to consider allocating a small donation to the Joe Strummer Memorial Society to help us build a hall. This is not mandatory, but it will help assist us in becoming a permanent fixture, which means that there will be a long-term hall to play at in the future.

The hall we are currently using has a capacity of roughly 200 people.
